About Us

Kallidaikurichi as the name says it’s a beautiful town in the midst of hills. It’s located on the right bank of the Tambirabarani river in Ambasamuthiram taluk of Thirunelveli district. Like any Indian rural town, this town too is steeped in tradition and rich in heritage, holding on to its past glories.

Our founder, Mrs. Iswarya Krishnaswamy, takes pride in setting up SriVaraha Cafe. Catering and Appalam manufacturing has been the major business in the localities for more than decades since the 1930’s, now our founder has given it a whole new form to make the quality food product reach local and worldwide. To not just restrict their quality products towards appalam, they decided to cater to Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner as well. Quality and taste are the key.

Founded in 2018, Sri Varaha Foods is one of the fastest-growing food processing companies in Kallidaikurichi, Tirunelveli District. The company has a demographic advantage in the appalam making industry. The term “appalam” is used interchangeably with “kallidaikurichi”, which is a synonym for appalam.
